There are three Skills that improve Maintenance. They are Armorer, Careful Handling and Gunsmith.
Wear and Tear[]
In WotLD all combat items deteriorate. Armour, Weapons and Firearms all degrade over time, making them less effective.
All these items have a hidden value which shows how robust they are. Although exact figures are not known several items including Automatic Weapons degrade at a much faster rate than others. In order to preserve these items for longer without Repair you can invest in maintenance skills.
Armorer[]
Armorer is one of 3 Maintenance skills. Maintain armor by using found materials for repair. Reduces chance that armor will be damaged when in use. It helps prevent Armor degradation.

Careful Handling[]
Careful Handling is one of 3 Maintenance skills. It helps prevent Weapons degradation. Take more care when crushing skulls! Reduces chance that a melee weapon will be damaged or break when in use.
